OkamiDen comes out next week, anyone going to be picking it up?

As a huge fan of the original, I'm still not 100% sure whether or not I'll be playing OkamiDen... I haven't really heard anything about it at all, which makes me nervous.

What do you guys think? =)

Loved the original, will probably pick Okamiden up down the line. I just don't use my DS often, so full price for a game I may not play much of is kind of rough.

Wow, next week already? Guess I'll have to pick it up after I get paid at the week's end.

From what I've heard GS broke streetdate, so you should be able to pick it up now if you want.

Yes, yes I will. I've got it pre-ordered.

If it gets good reviews, I'll definitely get it. Okami is one of my favorite games of all time.

I will but I'm afraid It'll just go to my huge backlog

I really love Okami to death but sadly I haven't really been feeling the -den version. It seems like a straight port but I'll wait for some reviews before deciding for sure.

Does it improve on the gameplay from the PS2 version? How about storyline wise, what does it add (if anything) from Okami?

I have no interest in it. The people who made the first game left Capcom, and the fact that the dudes making Okamiden are putting it on the DS shows they have no idea what the fuck they're doing.

What do you mean?

@BulletproofMonk: Okami was great because of how amazing it looked and sounded. Putting it on a weak system with a small screen is idiocy. Especially when it's a 3D game, and the system in question has no analogue sticks.

I absolutely loved Okami (and really anything Clover ever put out) but I think I'm going to wait for a couple of reviews before I commit to a purchase.

Whoa. Wow. Really?

I'm too broke.  :(

I'll definitely pick it up at some point.

I might in some point in time.

due to financial reason I'll have to wait a while ... have to cancel my 3DS preorder as well :(

Still haven't found time to finish Okami itself though, I should do that first anyway

Luckily my DS Lite is falling apart, so I'll be getting a 3DS at launch. Circle Pad ahoy! (Although I may be finished the game by then.)

How much better are the controls on the 3DS?  Does it have analog control?  Also, are there any other 3DS-specific improvements?  I only ask because I just got the game today, but I'm not sure if I should wait to play it on my 3DS, which won't arrive until the end of the month.
