It's a game about a bikini-cowgirl and her younger sister in a schoolgirl outfit, both wielding katanas, slaying a shitload of zombies. Oh, and if I'm not mistaken there's also a police girl with guns.

It's like the video game equivalent of a B-movie. Except that people don't want intentionally bad video games, so it will fail miserably (sales wise)

It's a game that if i'm not mistaken is already been out in japan for the PS2. It's just as you have heard by now its a game about killing zombies with a sword and maybe a few guns all the while wearing bikinis and other scantly clad clothes. And if I recall the girls do get covered in blood as well.

This is a well known budget series of games in japan. I think I have said all of this before on Giant Bomb.

I'm getting the 360 version on release day hahaha. It's too obscure of a game to pass up.

Other games in the series have been released in Japan before, but not this specific game.
Europe has seen the release of these games as well, as Zombie Zone, Zombie Hunters, and so forth. But like nearly every game in the Simple series, they never came out in North America. :(

This game will always remind me of how lame Gamespot is after that censorship thing..

It does look like low quality crap on Wii, basically a muddy port of the PS2 game. The game is for fans of the Manga primarily, I cannot see many people interested in this one.

    There's a manga? Oh shi-

Edit: What's it called? I can't find any manga with these characters.

I actually think it looks sweet. And if this is an incentive, the achievements are mad easy. You get almost all of them for just beating the game and have to put in a little bit of time for other challenges.

Intentionally bad video games, hell, just bad or even mediocre video games in general, can be a lot of fun under the right circumstances.

I recently watched a drunk guy play through Pokemon Snap in one sitting while a bunch of other drunk guys (myself included) watched, and it was a lot of fun. The game itself wasn't that fun, but the camaraderie and such was... kind of like watching a B-movie with like-minded individuals.

I love terrible movies, and Terrible games have a similiar appeal, though they would have to be played with company, so you can laugh.

It's a shame that the Wii's graphics are too bad to take advantage of the theme (who wants to look at grainy, blocky manga girls?)

Sure they do....Sometimes a bit of mindless stupidity can be fun.  Not every game needs to be a deep, meaningful epic that profoundly effects the player.  As rexualhealing said, under the right circumstances mediocre games can offer a type of entertainment value that an "A" title can't.  Oneechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers will be priced as a budget title (under $40), so it knows what it is and its place in gaming hierarchy.  Wait a few months and pick it up for $20 or rent it for a weekend.  Enjoy the goofiness, and just go with it.

When you're done playing the game, there is a movie out, too.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTo5dDhFMQ4

Western Wii version will be somewhat upgraded over the already available japanese version though.
