Origin's $5 Summer Sale

#1 Posted by benjaebe (2783 posts) -

For those of you who haven't immediately dismissed Origin and can get over whatever lingering hate you have for EA, they're running a pretty good $5 game sale until this Sunday.
Pretty cheap way to get your hands on BFBC2, BFBC2: Vietnam or even some of the older Battlefield games.

(May I also suggest Mirror's Edge, in the hopes that more sales will one day inspire them to invest in a sequel.)
...a man can dream.

A DAY before I get paid, it ends. God. Damn. It.

Damn, if only I had a PC that could run something more complex than firefox. I still have most of my old BF games on disk but thats a pretty sold sale. I always was interested in trying Spore, maybe next time :(

Recently bought Mirror's Edge for my 360, otherwise I hit that buy-button right away.

The rest of the games doesn't really interest me.

Doesn't seem like there is a sale on in the UK. Well, some prices are lowered but not $5.

Go on, get it for PC. I don't know how it is on 360, but the game is great on PC.

Definitely check out Mirror's Edge.

Oh boy and all the Sims 2 I can handle!

Wait and you have to pay for Creature Creator now? Wasn't that like a free demo thing before Spore came out or is this a more robust version of that?

Is this exclusive for the US or something? I can't seem to find it when it directs me to the Swedish site.

I might get another copy of Mirror's Edge just so I can play the DLC. The Pure Time Trials are awesome, but they don't work with the Steam version. :(

Yup, definitely not available in Europe.

And they're seriously trying to compete with Steam?

BC2 Vietnam for $5? Sure.

It is available in Sweden, but it's not advertised. Click on Erbjudanden.
