Eric Chahi's Another World (Out of this World in the US) is over 20 years old now but the HD version looks good enough and the game has always played well enough that even without the benefit of nostalgia, the game is fun, interesting, challenging and an incredible example of wordless storytelling that even today escapes most games.The story unfolds entirely through gameplay. Introduction Another World was an out of this world classic at the time of release. This 20th Anniversary edition released for the 3DS does serve its purpose of trying to stay true to its original Amiga 500 release whilst introducing this classic puzzle action platformer to new audiences. For those who grew up playing the Console versions may find this to be a slightly disappointing release. Classic fantastic This is still one of the most remarkable action-adventure games of all time. With absolutely superb animations and a brilliant atmosphere this game is a real feast to play through. The re-release with HD graphics makes it look absolutely beautiful on modern PCs and should be viewed by all in all its glory. Combo platter Combining the adventure/puzzle, platformer and action genres this well is a real feat.
