    ALL THAT EMULATION POWER SON!!

"While Ouya sales have been slow but steady, it turns out only 27% of owners have actually paid for a game on the new console.

As revealed to The Verge, Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman thinks this is nothing to worry about for a free-to-play console. Ouya's point of difference is its 'try before you buy' model, and while only 8 percent of gamers have upgraded to the paid versions of its 20 top grossing games, Uhrman stresses that a lot of social and mobile app developers "would kill" for an 8 percent attach rate on a brand new platform"

Many people who said they would purchase an Ouya were talking about its emulation capabilities.

    so 2+2 = It's a pirate's life for OUYA owners.

The ouya hasn't dropped dead but it is very slowly gaining momentum so it will interesting to see how developers react to this news.

Are there any Ouya out there ? and have you bought a game for it ?

How long do you think the Ouya will live, not for much long.

What a great place for indie developers to sell their games, right?

Me and my girlfriend have an Ouya. We're picked up maybe 2 or 3 games between us on it. I feel one of the biggest issues with the thing is that the shop is absolutely atrocious. It makes it a chore just to browse through games. And the fact you then need to download the free version just to see the price? It's so dumb.

If you want emulation you could easily just use your computer and a controller. I have no need for an Ouya.

After playing with a friend's Ouya for a few hours, I can say that if I had one the only games I would buy at this point would be Towerfall (which is great) and that Amazing Frog game which is just so so strange.

I own an Ouya, but I am part of the 73 % who didn't purchase anything on it... In fact that thing has probably only run 10 minutes at all till today, and most of the time was me entering my WiFi password again and again and again, till the console decided to finally save this stuff...

Maybe when the outside temperatures sink to a bearable level I will check the "sideload" stuff out of curiosity, so in the meantime it's just some rounded cube sitting on my PC desk, but hey... at least it doesn't take much space...

Pretty much, yeah. There are also PSP's, original Xbox's, and Wii's that can be easily modified to play emulated games from your couch, none of which have controller issues.
