Overlord: Raising Hell is about taking control of an army of loyal minions to strategically defeat the forces of good (and evil!) - all while making fun of numerous fantasy stereotypes.

Overlord: Raising Hell was released as an expansion to the original game, Overlord, on the Xbox 360. It was later released on the PlayStation 3 as a full retail game that included the new expansion as well as the original content all on one Blu-ray disc.

Additions

Overlord: Raising Hell in comparison to Overlord contained many new additions to weapons and armor. Each of these new items still needed to be located, but once found cound be forged at the Forge inside of the Overlord's Tower. To create the new weapons and armor, it needs a sacrifice of Minion life just like it was done in Overlord. The new weapons compared to the old weapons had actual power. For example, weapons could deal fire damage or deal shock attacks. New helms that increased life are also available. The new weapons were not limited to where they could be used.
