If you are looking for an easy S rank then this is the game for you, took me around an hour. doesnt hurt that the game is pretty fun either.
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Nov 16, 2010
Create a long-winding train of ghosts and eat 'em for large combos in this frantic sequel to Pac-Man Championship Edition.
The 360 achievements are real easy
Yep, I just S-ranked it myself. But getting all of the achievements puts you nowhere near playing all of the content of the game. Every level has around 15 variations and different challenges, each with variable settings, and you're eating hundreds of ghosts and going really fast and more ghosts are waking up and it just gets faster and faster and FASTER AND FASTER AND MORE GHOSTS AND FRUIT AND FASTER AND -
*Head explodes*
" Played for about an hour and got the S-Rank. "No bombs" was the most difficult, because I accidently kept using bombs when ghosts were too close. "Me too. I kept getting a couple minutes into a match and then accidentally bombing. This was always immediately followed by me swearing quite loudly.
Yup, fairly simple S-rank, but this game is all about the points! I'm gonna start knocking out some good scores, and playing some of those other challenges.

"I got this achievement on my second time playing, after seeing what the requirements were, as soon as it went all slow mo and there was no way for me to escape without using a bomb i though fuck it and let pacman die as lives are really easy to cumulate.
I just bought this, booted it up and got the S-Rank in one session. Never really played Pac-Man before either. However, it was so much pure fun. Went on to clear all challenges on Championship II. I guess technically you've cleared the game after clearing all challenges for all levels (maps? cabinets?). But really it's all about improving your score on the leaderboards and challenging friends. I love the XBLA games that are totally pick-up-and-play like this.
I also got the game free because of that October deal!
The original Pac-Man CE was my first ever S Rank. I spent two nights in a row playing nothing but that and finally got it. Man, it was fun. I'm sort of glad this'll be an easy S Rank (I already got 5 cheevos without trying), but I also think I'll miss that long hunt.
What a great game so far.
" @GilbertMordinAndSullivan::D "What are you smilin' about, soldier? This is PAC-MAN and it is SERIOUS, MIND EXPLODING BUSINESS.
Okay I'm going to be the guy that asks the question. PAC-Man to me is fun in small doses but does the game really do that much different stuff? Does the new modes really keep the game fresh? Is it a headache with the 360 d-pad? And on a similar note, anybody looking forward to bejeweled 3?
" @mau64: The dpad wasn't annoying, especially the way pacman controls. I played this game for a solid 4 hours tonight until I was too sleepy and my thumbs started throbbing. One of my thumbs still hurts today. can't squeeze a stress ball with that hand. So yeah, worth it. "Take two pellets and call me in the morning. That's intense, dude.
The first game is my only S-Rank other than Dash to Destruction (which doesn't count, right?) and was super easy. I'm actually kind of disappointed that this appears to be even easier since I know I'll be playing the hell out of it. The one bad thing about achievements is that (for me) after an S-Rank I'm not as motivated to keep playing. Having one or two super-tough ones on a stick would be nice.
I'll take the 200 easy points though!

"I never got all the achievements for the original because i got it on a disk with a few other games and subsequently lent it out, never to see it again.
This maybe a really stupid question, but what do you have to do to get the completed game achievement?
In one session I played every variant of the first map.
2nd session I played the first 5 minute mode of all the other maps.
I thought people were saying you don't have to play every single mode of the game to get that achievement. Is that true?
I'm loving the game, and I still plan on playing every mode, but that completed game achievement is the last one I need for the S Rank. I thought I would've had it by now.
Does this game have trophies? Im assuming it does, but every once on a blue moon some new games on PS3 dont have trophies.
