So, yeah, of course one of the few good looking EA Wii titles gets canned. Yay, thank you EA!

Wacky fun, decent engine, far in development, but nooooo, you can't have it. Boo!

The trailer's attempts at humor were surprisngly not funny. How shocking.

Looks decent at best, but it's a shame it got canceled when the game looks so close to done.

first of all, this does not look fun, and second publishers don't cancel games for no reason so it probably actually did suck.

EDIT: oh, and also it's Pandemic so....

Yes because everything they do publish is ace. Anyway, they shut down its studio, hence it was canned. Fun stuff.

As for how it looks, meh, it has more character than most people around here, despite the shitty announcer.

What's so bad from what's displayed? Vehicle variety with cars, bikes, boats, helicopters, parachutes, little tweaks to the formula that enhance it, like earning fans, getting your posters on friends' Wiis, wacky mini games like being hanged off a helicopter, celebrity caricatures, split screen and online, and a decent engine showing some effort for a Wii project. More solid than most games out there tbh. If it was fun or not would be up to the controls it seems, as everything else appears pretty solid. There aren't many wacky racers and with variety it could be a new Diddy Kong Racing. It certainly differentiates itself from the average racer since it even seems to be somewhat open world based instead of having set tracks. I'm thinking it was set up all open and you'd reach mission tags to trigger the actual races or other wacky events and what not, perhaps taking over the city as fans of your mug bit by bit, or something along those lines. It could work. Or fail. It's a shame it wasn't attempted at all in the end though, considering a trailer of an unfinished product looks this solid with a decent engine, models, animations, and a cohesive overall look.

@Al3xand3r: yeah, some of the stuff they do publish is crap, what does that tell you about how bad the stuff they cancel is?  Or it's just not coming together and costing them too much money.  They wouldn't cancel something for no reason, it has to have something really wrong with it for them to cancel it aftter they dump money into it, because it means the amount they lost is better than dumping even more money into it and probably losing even more.

That doesn't look decent at all. Actually, that looks unfunny and terrible.
