Panzer Dragoon Zwei is the second game in the Panzer Dragoon Series, but takes place before the events of the original. As with all games in the series except Panzer Dragoon Saga Zwei is an on rails shooter where the player takes on the role of a Dragon and it's rider.
The dragon rider in Panzer Dragoon Zwei is a man named Jean-Luc Lundi who discovers a mutant coolia (the cattle of the Panzer universe) which has grown wings, soon after Jean-Luc makes this discovery his village is destroyed by a gigantic floating battleship (which we later discover is called the shelcoof). He then sets off with the dragon (who he names Lagi) on a quest to destroy the shelcoof and avenge his fellow villagers.
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei was one of the few games which could be presented in 16:9 resolution.
