The first two Panzer Dragoon games were coined “dramatic shooting games”; a rail-shooter with a plot and character development in a dazzling setting reminiscent of Miyazaki’s Nausicaa. So dramatic, in fact, that the designers decided a third game in the series should be an RPG to expand on the setting, the end product being a massive 4 CD game. When you're eighteen, you have three choices in life: you can buy a car, put the money you've earned towards your college tuition, or you can blow your money on Panzer Dragoon Saga -- one of the rarest video games in existence. This Sega Saturn title frequently goes for $180-250, so anything less is a steal. Sure, if you had two hundred dollars to spend, it's not like you could buy a Mercedes-Benz, but you might be able to get a used Kia Rio (or a Christmas present for your significant other) ...1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
