    Paper Mario: Sticker Star

    A handheld RPG and the fourth in the Paper Mario series. Along with the signature papercraft aesthetic, the game uses stickers as a core mechanic in both story and gameplay.

    It's just cam footage for now but I think it's pretty clear. Let's hope there will be partners in the final version, though I think even without them it already looks great.

    I guess that means I'll see a 3DS at launch courtesy of my roommate who loves Paper Mario.

    I fucking love paper mario. It seems like they're dropping all that Super Paper Mario nonsense and going back to a format that's more like the first two games. Which i'm completely in favor of.

    this makes me want to get the 3ds or at least try it out cause i mean the 3d effect looks like itll be great for this game

    Its an RPG. I think he wants a direct sequel to that cornball Square Enix Mario RPG for the SNES.

    Looks nice.  It's too bad that DS games are so quickly hard to find in retail after only a few months though, because I probably won't pick up a 3DS for a while.  I'll probably never find most of these early games by the time I pick a system up.

    Nintendo reprints anything with with Mario on it like every year. What you have to look out for is basically anything by Intelligent systems or published by Atlus, cus Atlus makes money by printing just enough copies for its base. This game will never be too hard to find.

    It still looks like I expected and wanted it to look, except for the apparent lack of partners of course. Why the heck didn't they show this at the press conference?
