Paradox also began licensing out the original Europa Engine to teams interested, in late 2009 the first game For the Glory will see an updated version of Europa Universalis 2 released with more emphasis on mod ability and History. Another title Arsenal of Democracy which will see similar changes made to Hearts of Iron 2 will also be released. They won't be the price of a full game as they are based on a 10 year old engine and will be slightly cheaper. The teams behind both games have been long time fans of the company and bring a whole collection of new idea's to how they envision the games should evolve.
Paradox has also in recent years been expanding it's business of published games by setting up Mezmer Games which will release Stalin VS Martins among other cheaper games aimed at a more casual market. It also recently purchased the developers behind East India Company with the intention of publishing it as they see great potential within the Title.
