Interesting to hear what a guy coming from the movie industry has to say about the workhours in the game industry.

Looks great, plus Metroid style gameplay. Very exciting.

Also cool to see a guy from Hollywood recognize all the work that goes into making a game.

Nice graphics, but other than that it doesn't seem especially good.

Man, this game looks fantastic. I hope this inspires more animators to get into games

It's weird that game development is still almost completely non-union.
Terry_Bogardon March 18, 2011 at 1:16 p.m.
This game looks awesome. I'm hoping this and FEZ end up in the summer of arcade.

indeed. Because the game industry is still so young, there are no unions and won't be for a long time. And the people are burning out like crazy!

Whoever of the younglings thinks, he/she wants to do this job, needs to know, that being 'enthusiastic' as a requirement to work at a company, is secret lingo/a euphemism in the industry for 16hr days, 7 days a week.

Wow that is animated really smoothly.
It is a strange thing to say but it makes it just look real nice.

This looks really neat.

Interesting comparing the movie industry and its labor policies.  Really makes you appreciate game developers and how much they love what they do.

I'm excited for this. Metroid-like in upgrades and exploration, a great art style, and music by Dimmu Borgir. Listen closely to the first bit of animation and you'll hear the orchestral portion of Progenies of the Great Apocalyspe.

@Buck: Ya, I was thinking the same thing
