So I'm using a laptop. The speakers near the monitor, right above the keyboard, are obviously little holes. They like to attract little bits of dust and get them stuck in there. What's the best way to clean these out? Perhaps a can of compressed air MIGHT do the trick, or is there an easier way? Oh and, perhaps the keyboard could use some cleaning, but I'm sure compressed air is probably the best for that.

Toothbrush is the best way.

I think a can of compressed air really does sound like the best bet for this if you want to do it effectively but I'm no expert.

For speakers, do you have speakers that you can remove the filters or not?  If they're those kids with the mesh right on the speaker I suppose your only choice is compressed air (or to get better speakers? :) )
 
For keyboard to do a really thorough job, you should remove all the keys (most keyboards should allow this) and clean underneath and clean each key.  I've never done this to any of my keyboards, it's a ton of work, but man it's crummy under there.  I don't even want to think about it.

Can you open up your keyboard? If you can on your laptop I would just use compressed air on both your keyboard and the speakers.
