So I work at Target. It isn't a bad place to work, honestly. Anyway, I found some clearance PC games I'm debating on getting, but I thought I'd ask here. :)

    The games are:

    Alpha Protocol (about $12.50)
    Bioshock 2 (about $7)
    Borderlands (about $4-5)

I have Borderlands for my PS3 which I've played to hell and back, and I played the first Bioshock mainly on the PC, but I also have it for the PS3. Are any of these games compatible with Steam? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed Alpha Protocol despite its many flaws, and played enough of Bioshock 2 that I'd have payed £4.40 for it, not sure why you'd get Borderlands again if you've got on a different platform though. I seem to remember seeing all of those games on Steam at one point or another so I'd go with yes.

They're all compatible with steam right? I don't know if you can enter the code into steam and get it to work 100% but since they are sold on steam I'd assume they work on steam. They're all pretty good games

I don't see a point in buying Borderlands, but the other two are fine.
Wouldn't it be better to get the GOTY edition of Borderlands?
Oh and, i know for a fact those games are all on steam, but whether or not you can add them to your steam account with a retail is another story.

i too enjoyed alpha protocal (post hacking mini-game rage). I like it better with my 360 controller too.
bioshock 2 really didn't do it for me.. i was just bored. It got good reviews tho.
Borderlands is fun. Get some friends to play too.. but, like others have said, you might want to pick up the GOTY version of it.
None of these games will let you add them to steam.. but maybe check out the prices of them on steam first. ;) (well.. borderlands might works as it is a steam works title)

So I think I may get Alpha Protocol tonight. I'm here till 10 (its a little after 6:30 here) so I'll pick it up on one of my breaks. I'll take a look and see what other games that have marked down.

Get Borderlands and Bioshock. I haven't played Alpha Protocol, but buy it. If AP isn't good, just trade it in.

@maa4208: You can add any non-steam game to your Steam account for the steam in-game overlay, friends list, chatting, etc.

Those games do not use steamworks so they can't be added to your Steam account, sorry.
