I have enough people to play most of my games with, but I can help you out with some info for the games you are unfamiliar with.

• Starcraft 2- [WIP - Help needed]

2-8 players, 2-8 teams, can create party and begin match from there or invite directly to a custom game

• Frozen Synapse- [WIP - Help needed]

2 Players, asynchronous (e.g. you don't need to be on at the same time), match by User Name. (mine is NyxFe, and I'm always down for some matches.)

• Dota 2- [WIP - Help needed]

1-10 Players, 2 teams, can create party for matchmaking (5) or custom game

• Warhammer 40K: Space Marine- [WIP - Help needed]

Versus: 1-(16?) Player comp. online, 2 teams, latency heavy, can only party on one team I believe.

Horde (Exterminatus): 1-4 Players, can form party & custom game. Latency depends on host.

How many people are in the Super Monday Night Combat beta? I would love to get a group going for that if there's enough interest.

I'm totally down with this idea, especially with games that have co-op, like Saints Row the Third. Also Alien Swarm. I'd love to have something to do in that game.

And this might also encourage me to get back into TF2.

I'd be up for some Frozen Synapse, but I haven't played the game in a while, and the last time I did, I didn't know shit about it. I'm clearly not the guy to ask about this type of thing.

Excellent idea, and one of the many reasons why I feel excited about being part of the GB community.

I'd really like to find some EU co-op buddies for Dungeons Defenders and Trine - that's the first Trine, not Trine 2 - and maybe some L4D 2 dudes as well. As for competitive, the only game I really play competitive multiplayer in is TF2, but it's been a while. Might hop in if we get a good community going, but too often in the past the Giant Bomb/Tested server has been pretty dead.

I joined the group late last night. I hope this idea takes root and really flourishes because it has potential for sure. Anyway, to the top with this thread for some more attention. Oh, and Nodderly runs the GB Minecraft server, so he would be the guy to contact if you have questions regarding that.

Edit: I wouldn't mind some BC2 love, although everyone moved on to BF3, and rightly so. I guess I just need to suck it up and buy it (after upgrading my PC).

Great job @AhmadMetallic, given enough support this could be great. I will try to join in on the BF3 games as much as possible as well as a few of these other games!

We can do a lot more with IRC than steam chat, providing we're able to... well... do stuff. We'll see basically.

I am always up for Team Fortress 2. In addition to that I am interested in Portal 2 Co_op, Dungeon Defenders, Mount and Blade Warband, and I haven't played League of Legends in a long time but I would be up for that as well.

Brilliant Idea! Personally I feel that all the sub giant bomb steam group's should just be deleted from existence, and one central one created. With the event's thing announcements could go up on a weekly basis for the game nights ect. Plus it would make it a lot less segregated and you could reach everyone that play's PC games, and not have to go into the individual groups to do it. Just a thought.

Steam chat is a fucking mess when the number of participants rise above like 10. I'm also working on acquiring a channel bot that would be most useful, details to come on that.

I've been playing League of Legends almost daily for the past year so I'm interested in helping out on that front. Note existing work in the form of this steam group and some of the threads in the board for the game. Due to the format of LoL and the importance of equality in player skill for matchmade games, full 10-man custom games are probably the way to go.

I only play games that have an initialism. So KF, TF2, CS:S are all good to go for me.

OK, I like a lot of games, I prefer co-op though.

I think we should add Section 8:Prejudice.

If everyone wants this to work then it falls to all of us to support it and not let it die. Portal 2 and starcraft 2 would be two im down for.

I might be interested in destroying the GB community in League Legends.

Bought Portal 2, Borderlands (w/ DLC) and E.Y.E in the recent steam sale, haven't installed 'em but I'd be up for some coop; same goes for Magicka and Terraria as I've not played much of those.

I've had Left 4 Dead 2 for ages but still haven't completed the campaigns so would also like to do that at some point.

I'd also like to nominate Sanctum as an idea- played a bit solo but seems like a great coop experience.

Lastly, this probably won't get much interest but I'm planning on running through both Serious Sam First Encounter and Second Encounter again before diving into SS3 so that's another coop idea. The game's got some crazy coop settings; can be a lot of fun.

As one of the assumed many that got it through an indie bundle and played it for the Steam holiday achievement, I have to say Sanctum's entertaining as hell, and I'm not typically a tower defense fan. If it weren't for Saints Row: The Third, I'd probably be giving it more of my time.

So yeah, count me in as another potentially interested chap. It'd be nice if there were enough people for a full co-op game.

I would be up for some SMNC, for sure.   I would be up for some Battlefield 3 (Or Team Fortress 2, Assassin's Creed: Revelations or Starcraft 2(EU though) )
