So, with the recent unveiling of Diablo 3 and the long awaited Starcraft 2 slowly getting closer. I decided I need a new comp. I was wondering if anyone could help me with some specs that are reasonably priced. Thinking around a grand or so. List whatever you think is necessary.

That build posted by Nomin is excellent, a very very nice PC, but I also agree you wait until closer to the games release, when you can either get it cheaper, or more performance for that money.

Rather not go into specifics, but I do suggest you build your own, if you're up for it.

    Saved about 800 dollars.

Yeah, if you're buying it for specific games that aren't out for a while, then there's not really much point in buying the system now. Just sit it out. Lie in wait. Like a cobra.

Alright. Yah I was definately going to wait a while, but I just wanted to get an idea of what I should be shooting for because my current pc doesn't run some of the games that are out now that I would like to play. Thank you for the layout though Nomin.

Lol at the guy trying to make you get a mac for games

Macs are terrible for gaming, they're expensive, have VERY limited hardware support and few gaming companies release their games on macs
