So EA's love for the PC platform continues, apparently, as people buying the PC version of Tiger Woods '12 found out that they didn't get what they thought they were paying for.
Instead of a port of one of the console versions of the game, with similar features, it looks like the PC version of Tiger Woods is essentially an on-disc version of the F2P Tiger Woods Online. This is even though the game shares the same title and box art as the new game, and even had a page on EA's site suggesting that the PC version had similar features to the console version (which EA has now edited).
The graphics look the same as Tiger Woods Online, it has a similar feature set, and the multiplayer is just a 3 month trial of Tiger Woods Online.

After the controversy started, EA has apparently started OFFERING REFUNDS to PC customers who purchased the PC version.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds to me like they were trying to be shady and cheap, and are now backpedaling since they got caught.Opinions?
