Hey everyone,
Post your favorite PC game (or games) of all time and the reasons you love them so much.

Mine would most likely be X-Com: UFO Defense, with the rest of the Trilogy in hot pursuit.
The combination of world-screen micromanagement with the tense tactical combat and creepy/mysterious aliens just makes me so excited.
I have so many great memories from that game.

My favorite games are starcraft and ragnarok online.
I remmember playing starcraft back in the day until like 5am sending hordes of zergs at my poor enemies >:D it was so much fun. Ragnarok online I started a bit later and its what got me started on mmos.

CSS, Starcraft, Red Alert 2, and probably some other games that I can't remember right now.

I don't know if anyone's heard of it, but I used to play "Cube Hopper" all the time.

Probably StarCraft.

I'd put Battlefield 1942 and TIE Fighter up near the top also.

Diablo II is my favorite

Hard one, I guess my favorite of all time has to Half-Life 2.

Red Alert 2.

Doom 2 or Half Life 2.

Its a tie between KOTOR, NWN2 and crysis.

Team Fortress 2 because I have never played a game for some many days in a row and still have fun with it

I haven't played many PC games, but my favorite would have to be Half Life 2 followed by Counter Strike.

Baldur's Gate II

Easily my favorite PC game is Deus Ex. Sets the standard for so many games, and is just an amazing experience to this day. I really hope the third game will stay true to the first game, and not be a general disappointment like the second one.

This is a tough one, but I'll say StarCraft.

Starflight is still my all time favorite game on any platform.  It is very dated now, but I have never been so awed by a game in my 36 years on this planet.  Knights of the Old Republic is a close second followed by the original X-Com and the original Bard's Tale.

all time would probably be any game in the space quest series (that's what got me started)

more recently, probably civilization 4

Half-life or Diablo 2 for me.

Doom started it all, but I'll have to go with Baldur's Gate - awesome game.

Duke Nukem 3D or Half-Life 2.

Doom, Daggerfall or Deus Ex. I loved those three the most and have put many hous into each of them.

Portal

Heroes of Might and Magic 3

The Monkey Island series. No question.

Half-Life.

It's between Half-Life and Counter-Strike.

Team Fortress Classic probably, hundreds upon hundreds of hours in that game, MP was such a huge blast and it never seemed to get old. Great fun. I even spent a good few months "concing" which was basically lots of maps made for scout and medic to conc through, over big jumps, amazing stuff really.

Runners up would be Dues Ex, Half-Life.

Any of the Command & Conquer games! I completely loved Red Alert 1 back in the day, and C&C Generals: Zero Hour is great for LAN games.

Diablo II - played it all day long and still do sometimes

The original Half Life or Fallout for me.
