Is it possible to build a half decent PC to play wow on with a £400 budget strapped for money atm since im doing my driving and trying to get a car. So was just wondering is it possible cause i dont want to be getting one from ebay?
@lukereees: Here's an idea of the kind of parts you'd want to look at. It's not going to max out the witcher 3 or anything any time soon, but for a Wow box it should more than suffice. Also, if you toss in a better GPU down the line, the rest of the system should hold up. The only potential bottleneck is the CPU, really.
I'd say get a good CPU along with a good motherboard, 8 GB's of RAM and a midrange GPU. As long as you have a good CPU, you can switch out your GPU much more easily for a more powerful one along the line. 400 pound sterling is cutting it very close.
@corevi: so glad i posted on this forum a ton of help! Hopefully i can build a good pc for now and slowly upgrade it. Im going to use the parts from the link above i think
Seriously, if you ever played with lego you're halfway there. And there's a ton of guides and videos to walk you through the process. This guy is pretty good at explaining the process, for example.
