In an earlier thread, I had posted a general question about buying a gaming computer. Now I have acquired the money. My budget is around $500-650, but I could, preferably not, go over a little bit. With the price in mind, what computer should I buy/make? Where's the cheapest place to get parts? Could you provide me with a complete parts list? I don't need anything that good.

If you look at the back of a PC Gamer, they usually list several builds. I can't remember, off the top of my head, if any are in your price range, but it is a good place to start, I think. Just buying what they list in your price range is not a bad call. You can also mix and match or sub a few things in and out, if you're not particular.

Where's that Gamespot video where they built an AMD and an Intel/NVIDIA PC for between $500 and $650?
