Good, ergonomic/comfortable gaming mouse with (very) high DPI?
Call up Logitech and they'll send you a new one. G5 is a good mouse as well. Been using Logitech mice for years now; MX500, MX510, MX518 and G5. Have used numerous of each and often were free replacements due to frayed wires.
The ROCCAT Kone mouse is really good. It has comfortable shape and it's very customizable. It also has a DPI of 3200 I believe, if you favor a high DPI.
What is DPI? I quite like the mouse I have, though I'm not familiar with what it is. It has a nice groove for your thumb, very ergonomic. Two extra buttons above where your thumb rests, and two more extra buttons: one on either end of the scroll wheel. Love that mouse.
" What is DPI? "Dots per Inch. Printing term, but applied to a mouse: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouse_dpi#Mouse_speed
Razer Lachesis for me. Excellent mouse.
Funny thing was I picked up the Razer Mako 2.1 system which has two satellite speakers that fire down onto the table. This throws the mouse all over the desk when the sound is up. Should be some kind of warning =p
I find the basic Logitech laser mice are pretty confortable and cheap, probably not the highest dpi, but still decent.
I have an mx518, and I can't stand Razer mice. They have a different hand position, where the fingers lay flat (which means you have less leverage), and the side buttons get in the way of my fingers (I have big hands). I know people who swear by them though, so you should test one out first.

I would avoid getting bogged down with specs. Nothing beats some hands on testing.

That's the one I ended up buying. Really happy with it, even more comfortable then the Logitech mx518 i had (thats the one that broke)" The ROCCAT Kone mouse is really good. It has comfortable shape and it's very customizable. It also has a DPI of 3200 I believe, if you favor a high DPI. "
its not quite as precise as I had hoped considering the price, but oh well i play with a low sensitivity anyway. Atleast I get these silly lights that you can change colors on and stuff :\
lifting it without pushing the buttons on the side was impossible.Out of interest, why would you need to lift it?
what kind of stupid question is that "Perfectly legitimate question. When I'm using a mouse, I don't find a need to lift it
well youre the only one" @mhkjtha said:
