Got this GTX 770. Been playing SC: Conviction occasionally and I've been having an annoying issue. Mouse is on 1800 DPI and maxed in-game sensitivity yet it feels very slow. I'm not finding an Engine.Input section in the INI file. Can someone guide me in the correct direction?

I want to play games in max settings :).

It should play mostly everything at max settings (maybe turning AA down to 8x) at 1080p. 1440p+ you might want to choose the GTX 780 (or the Titan for multiple high-resolution monitors).

@shingatsu: is the rest of your computer up for that task?

Just swapping out the graphics card wont help you if the rest is ancient.

Even if the machine is old, its still going to help massively, it'll just get bottlenecked slightly, but highly doubt its that old seems as he has a GTX 560, could be wrong but it will still be a lot better

I'll echo that. If you want to game comfortably at 1440p then don't get anything less than a 780 or just wait for the 800 series.

I have a 770 and it can max out anything. I only have to adjust AA settings to where I can keep 60 frames.

Too bad a Playstation 4 is more powerful than your entire computer at a fraction of the price. Same price as that video card you would get an entire gaming system with more GDDR5 RAM on board than any discrete graphics card in existence.

@skareo: That RAM is shared on the PS4. That will be divided between the OS and games. The APU is a mobile part, so its eight cores seems to be more marketing than an actual indication of performance.

A PS4 is actually going to still be behind the second it launches behind PCs. PC's are already at 16-cores with intel's chip next year being 8-cores 16-threads as well, and make no mistake, PCs having been playing next gen games now for over a year, the console market is playing catchup! always will be, you'll be stuck on the same hardware for 9 years while PC gamers can make small upgrades and just completely whipe-wash any consoles performance. PCs also have SSD's dont forget, the PS4s work-around with "shared" GDDR5 is sonys cheap way of trying to get the same performance load as a SSD, which is not the case because the console systems are still based from a regular 7200RPM harddrive. A PS4 more powerfull then a PC? HA!!! nice joke! Even the graphics cards inside the consoles are barely current gen on PC lol

Wow. Look I am looking forward to the new consoles, but I spent $400+ on a GTX 770 last month, don't regret it a bit. You cannot deny that PCs can play games at 1440p. And that they run faster. Sure there will be lots of the same games, but you telling me that you are gonna get 60 fps out of assassin's creed or battlefield 4? And the Devs have made it clear the COD and BF4 will look much better on the PC. As for the GDDR5 RAM, that's nice and all, but that is shared and nice to have but games still don't use that much unless you go multiple monitor or to 1440p but with the graphics chip the PS4 is using, I question the decision to go for all the unified RAM. Probably because of what I said, it is nice to have. Just like having a PC to play games at higher resolutions or tweak settings to get 60 fps and play RTS games, and also have an Xbox One to play Forza and Halo, and PS4 to play... um, well I don't like Killzone, I would probably play....well I don't want any PS3 exclusives at the moment. Anyway, being a gamer is all about balling out, getting everything you can. Sweet new graphics card and shiny new consoles.

You are sorely uninformed. The GTX 770 will out preform the PS4 for years to come.
