Is this a decent gaming PC for the price?

    mobo: Asus m3n78 pro

    Processor: AMD phenom 9600 quad core 2.4ghz X 4
cpu cooler: Cooler Master heat sink w/ fan
    Hard Drive: 500gb samsung sata
Dvd drive: Samsung 22x dual layer dvdrw
    memory: 6gb ram DDR2 PC6400
video card: Nvidia 8300 w/ hybrid SLI
Case: Antec gamer case w/ side 120mm blue LED fan and 2x 120mm front fans
    OS: Vista 64bit

I found this pc for sale at my local craigslist listing. So is this a decent gaming rig for $410? I pretty much figured I'd ask you guys since most of you probably know more than me on hardware. The guy that built this claims all parts are brand new and he offers a six month warranty if anything is wrong with it. Let me know what you guys think.. GO!

Thats a decent price.  You are going to have to buy a video card, since that is just the onboard video.  I have a similar motherboard, and from the reviews I read, you won't be able to play anything unless you put a video card in there.  With the money you are saving, you should be able to get a decent one.  What about the power supply?

A decent video card will put you at around $500, and for what you have there, thats a steal.

Ya if its not completely busted it's not a bad price. Ideally you'd want a  video card upgrade probably the 4850 or GTS 250 is what i'd recommend. The 500w PSU is probably some no name which came with the case and you may want to replace that personally as a faulty PSU can take everything with it.

Nice pc for a good price, although it seems as if you'll have to upgrade the video card sooner or later.

That is a really good price other than the absence of a power supply, it's really good

Considering the fact that my slightly better than that PC cost 1400 dollars (Three years ago) I would say that it is a good deal.

    @LooseChange:
I suggest a new video card that one is a little out of date but everything else is pretty good..

the 8300 is fail, get a better video card. as one of the key hardware components in your (gaming?) pc, you should definitely not go for bottom line when it comes to cards.

get a better video card and a good power supply and ull be all set.. id say together they are about 600 bucks for decent ones... so yeah, if 1000$ is cool thats a great computer.. you might wanna consider upgrading that motherboard too.

As others have stated already, get a better GFX card and PSU.

Perhaps a Vantec ION2 600W and an ATI 4850 or 4870 (if you can save a tiny more)
