I just got a new SteelSeries Ikari

its def taking some time to get used to....i had an old clunky unresponsive HP mouse.

the new mouse is REALLY responsive that's why its taking a while to get used to and its a bit bigger and wider then my previous mouse.

I can actually AWP successfully in CSS now XD

I am finding that I have to move the mouse much more carefully now since its so sensitive but im def loving how accurate it is when I do burst shots in CSS ^^

I'm wondering if I should get a better Mouse Pad, the one i have right now is the standard floppy kind that u get for free.

Eh, I'd turn the sensitivity down if you have to be careful when moving it. My whole mousepad=180 degree turn.

Also make sure you turn off mouse acceleration.

I'm gonna go off topic and say I own a Logitech G5, best mouse I've ever used. Anyone looking to buy a mouse should totally look into those.

@Jman522: I ended up buying the Rocketfish mousepad at bestbuy (metal pad), and then got a deal on the Razer Exact Matt. In the end, I actually prefer the "free" floppy kind you got - the metal mouse pads kinda suck after a good session.

I don't think I like the mouse wrist pad idea either... seems to encourage me to "rest" my arm on it.

Also, just because you mouse is sensitive, doesn't mean cranking the sensitivity is necessary. I have a g5, but never use the insane sensitivity mode.

I use the Steelpad SX for a mousepad. It's a huge surface.

You sure are making a ton of threads today. Still that mouse is very very confortable. However I think it's still a bit difficult to aim with c.s. For that game I would of gone with a different mouse.
