OK, so I just yeaterday decided to install Windows 7 RC on my laptop because I had wanted to try it for a while. I decided to make a HDD partition so that I could dual boot. Anyways all that stuff went fine and I got Windows 7 installed to the partition. But afterward, my HDD seems to be  running quite a bit warmer than just before I did this. I downloaded a temperature reading program and it said my hard drive is about 57 degrees celsius under normal conditions. That seems like it's much too hot for the drive being idle. In fact the program even gives me warnings about it.

Basically just wondering if anyone knows what could potentially be happening. Is it just my imagination? Could any partitioning business cause the HDD to run hotter? I would appreciate any help.
