This is what I am going to be doing with it:

    • 360 XBL ethernet
    • PC ethernet
    • Wii and DS wi-fi
    • Possible PS3/laptop using ethernet/wi-fi
What will max out the performance of all of these? I have a small house, and walls and such arent a problem

I would recommend a linksys router, as they seem to be the best quality IMO. Most PC's nowadays have a 1gb NIC  (I believe the 360 is only 10/100mb speeds.) , so make sure you get a router that supports at least 1gb.

In regards to wireless, N is a faster standard than G, but is also significantly more expensive. So your budget is going to dictate your speed in that scenario. The wireless adapters on each client connecting via wireless will also dictate speed and again, price will determine whether you go with N or G.

I would say go for a Dual Band N600 router with gigabit ports, if it supports A/B/G/N then you can ensure maximum wifi compatibility with current and future technology of the next 2 to 3 years. Something like this.

@Devildoll: Sounds like a D-Link, I don't see them around stores anymore, I thought they were no longer in business.

If you want the best you get a DD-WRT capable simultaneous dual band router and reflash the firmware.
