Currently i have been enjoying the Logitec MX revolution for about 5 months now and it has been awesome!
I have been using it with my iMac mainly (sometimes XP through bootcamp).

Although as some of you may know i have been preparing for a new build. A build specific to gaming.
I don't want to have to switch my MX mouse over to each comp when I need to so I have decided to get a new one for my new build.

I have been looking closely at Razor's line up and I like what I see.... but not what I have to spend :P

Can anyone recommend a good, well priced mouse for gaming?
 Wireless is preferred but not necessary.

Microsoft Sidewinder

Yep. I have the Sidewinder X8 and it's fucking awesome.

The Logitech G9 is pretty nice.

Well If it's for gaming, a wired mouse is a much better option, it really is.  I use a Razer DeathAdder and love it. It's very well designed. it can be bought for pretty cheap online if you scour around.

I'd recommend MX518/G9 mice.

They're both very good and comfortable, however the G9 is considerably smaller which can take a little while to get used to if you've got big hands.

I've been using a G5 for a few years now.  First mouse I've had that didn't die within months of use.

MX518 is a pretty great mouse, although they might still be charging upto and over 50$ for it nowadays.

Microsoft/Razer Habu was an Awesome mouse until I lost it. :(

I'd go with the Razer Deathadder, Steelseries Ikari laser or the Microsoft intellipoint 3.0.

I find wireless mouses kinda pointless for desktop computers.  Try to get a nice wired one.

Sidewinder x8. Great mouse. Wireless and can be charged on the fly. If you can spend more, I would suggest the Razer Mamba. High priced for a mouse, but it's the best wireless "gaming" mouse you'll find on the current market.
