    Hi all...
     
    Just wondered whether someone could remind me of a site mentioned on one of the podcasts?  One of the guys mentioned somewhere you can purchase old pc games which have been mod'd to run without the need for dosbox etc?
     
    For the life of me I cannot remember or find it..

    Just to let you know. GOG.com is not US only!!! Site shows pirces in USD, but games are sold to people from ANY country in the world:) and no matter where you  are from, prices are the same (unlike Steam which is more expensive for EU for example). This is rare case of digital distribution platform which operates fully globaly, without any country restrictions, which is pretty unique and really nice. Other unusual thing is that games sold at GOG.com have no any kind of DRM(!!!), so you just get file with installer (prepared to work on modern systems) and you can install wherever you like and on any number computers you like without need of any internet connection or activation (for example on netbook and play games during journeys). And if you lost your file, you can log in to GOG.com and always redownload it again for free:) and as a bonus many games have not only digital manuals, but also soundtracks, guides, wallpapers avatars and so on...
     
    I know that it sounds too beautifull to be true, but actually it is all true:) That is why site is getting very popular among PC gamers.
