The PC (Personal Computer) is a highly configurable and upgradable gaming platform that, among home systems, sports the widest variety of control methods, largest library of games, and cutting edge graphics and sound capabilities.
That's great news, but it's somewhat disappointing that such a big chunk of profits are from MMOs - this will only encourage developers to go the way of Bioware and make a single player game like KOTOR into an MMO.
Personally I blame piracy for the decline in PC gaming, but at the same time the increased power of consoles, and the advancement of online gaming on consoles has also probably put a dent in PC gaming. I also blame Intel Integrated Graphics...gosh those are terrible.

That leaves almost 4 billion for non-casual or MMO games. That is more then any console and more then half of the console market.
I don't ever really buy games, I'm more into online so I've always stuck to MMORPGs and Counter Strike Source, I loved the days when lucasarts made quality adventure games though.
