Does any one know if the AMD Radeon HD 7970 is any good? My current video card the radeon 5870 has died and this is what I am looking at geting. Money is not an issue I will alos be buying a soild state hard drive to go with it give my machine the some much needed power to play borderlands 2 on max seting when that comes out.

i have one, it does the job.

but if money isnt an issue, go ahead and buy a gtx 680 instead, it packs a little more punch.

both cards will certainly run borderlands 2, as long as the rest of your computer is up for the task.
