I used to. Now I just keep steamgamesales.com in my RSS feed so I'm not temped to look through their catalog every time. I just know about sales when they happen and don't risk opening the store unless I know what I want to buy.
 
I buy more impulsively when I'm drunk, but I want to play something new more when I'm stoned. Dangerous for the wallet when combined.

I used to have that problem but with Xbox Live since I would just browse the marketplace stoned and would say hey that looks ok, then boom, purchased. I just have it now where the disc automatically starts so I don't see the dashboard.

I don't really see how enjoyable it is to smoke pot or get drunk in front of the computer to warrant having that sort of security measurement; but hey I guess it would be helpful.

They should release a peripheral that tests your blood-alcohol level. If it finds ANY, it doesn't let you in, just for safety.

 I once got drunk, brought the Rockstar pack and then like an hour later was like "Hey, that's an awesome deal!" and tried to buy it again. Thankfully they told me I already owned it.

hahaha never happened to me, I've never bought anything from steam and stopped getting stoned alone... wait stopped smoking pot altogether. Smoking alone is one of the things I enjoyed the most but I became so goddamn stupid everybody thought I had lost it and I was forced to stop for my own good. Don't do it, not good, it soon becomes an habit and you'll smoke your joints like cigarettes.

Steam needs a feature that prevents me from buying games while sober. Eternity's Child? Sure, that looks like a quality product deserving of my money. I think I need to be drunk to enjoy that game.

I tend to do this when i'm extremely tired. Did I need to buy Sennheiser HD 555's to turn them in HD 595's? no....but I did anyway.

Simple fix: Let you return any game you buy within 24 hours. This would also help (for me at least) with games bought off of Steam that don't run on your system or are unplayable on your system.

yeah OP just make it so steam doesn't save your credit card credentials or whatever.

Steam should also sell alcohol.  It would be the ultimate sales scheme: get you drunk and trick you into buying more shit!
