What is the smallest partition I should have for BootCamp?

Since cloud saves on most games don't sync between Mac and PC (Like Torchlight), I want to install Windows 7 onto a small partition on my Macbook Air. What is the smallest partition I can get to install windows and a couple indie games. I have an extra copy of 64 and 32 bit Windows 7, will 32 bit be smaller? Also. would I be able to install games on a USB 3.0 Flash Drive or portable hard drive and play games off that?
