The first one has a better response time, but I'm more interested in picture quality and longevity. I'll be using the monitor for some video editing, a lot of multitasking, and gaming on either a PS3 or Xbox 360.

I'd suggest the Acer, I've seen bad reviews for Sceptre products before. Personally I went with a Samsung, but they're kind of expensive.

I agree with the above. The Samsung Syncmasters are pretty nice.

Yeah, if it weren't for the high price I'd definitely go with a Samsung. I have a 19" ViewSonic LCD that's lasted me really well, but I think it's time to upgrade to widescreen.

Lol I have been using a 19" HP because my old 17" died on me and its only a 8 months old. Gonna be awhile before I switch to 22" or higher.

yep, i pick the Acer, I don't know the other brand. Also like everyone here, I'm a Samsung fan here.

I say get a Samsung Syncmaster. I got a 19inch one and it was definitely worth the price. Out of those ones I would go with Acer.

The Acer has a higher contrast ratio for better colors and the small difference in response time won't be noticeable.
