Which one of these laptops should I get?

No, especially since I don't live in the UK or know what's available there.

2.2 gigahertz processors and more obscure graphics card models aren't going to get you much gaming power.

I'm not looking for a laptop that can play games at max, just one that can deal with medium settings.

If anyone has any links to cheaper/better laptops I'd be really grateful.

From what I understand, the best budget gaming laptop is a some Gateway one:

Your going to want at least a nvidia 8600M GT to run any games well at medium settings.  Go to Dells website, the UK site, and look at the XPS systems, the XPS M1530 laptop comes with a 8600 GT and starts around £649.  I do recommend getting the higher res screen at 1440*900, but that basics on that starting model will be what you need + a good GPU.

    http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m1530?c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&s=dhs

This way you can customize your order rather then just buy a laptop already built.  I have a dell inspiron 1520 with a 8600GT, I can tell you it will not run crysis on high settings, but medium it will with lower res, but its not really that great.  Other games though like World of Warcraft or anything like that will run ok at high res and higher settings.  I built a desktop gaming machine because of this, but I used that laptop for over a year before I wanted to play those games.  But the good thing is it will run games and run them good, WoW gets around 40-60 fps.  So hopefully that helps.

The Acer that I linked has an 8600 gt. And customizing any of Dell's xps' always comes out way too expensive.

I'm glad to know that the 8600 gt will do a good enough job.
