The PC (Personal Computer) is a highly configurable and upgradable gaming platform that, among home systems, sports the widest variety of control methods, largest library of games, and cutting edge graphics and sound capabilities.
I just bought a Gigabyte Windforce 760, there's almost no reason to go AMD these days. The 800 series has been pushed back to 2015 so that's gonna be a while.

I'll upgrade from a 460 to a 770 or 780 probably next year after The Witcher 3 releases. I can't justify upgrading right now for the few overly demanding games that I want.
Nvidia, but it wouldn't be any of those choices. And yeah, definitely looking to upgrade for the Witcher 3 as well. I very much doubt my 560 ti will do much good. :P
The answer should always be Nvidia. Hard as they might AMD is just not competing the right way, and their cards continue having more issues with games than their Nvidia counterparts. Not to mention that while Nvidia has PhysX for some added graphical flair, AMD has no alternative.
It's not really a mistake, AMD cards are good for straight up power, but games aren't optimized as well for it. Stuff like emulators just need raw power.
I'm going to close this. If you want others' opinions that is fine, but polls like this with unclear titles and limited options aren't helping anybody.
