Yes - what console you choose, or whether you game on PC - it's mostly just a preference. Some people will like one, others will like others. We could argue objectively, but when it comes down to it, some people don't care about certain advantages or disadvantages.

Seriously, stop making shit up. Computers do tend to cost more than consoles, but I've never spent more than 1500 on a machine. I recently upgraded my computer for like $600. According to the requirements, I can play Farcry 2.

This is fact.

More facts for you, a keyboard and mouse are more precise than a controller. For any application needing a high level of precision, they are superior. This has nothing to do with opinion or personal preference, it has to do with hardware capabilities.

Another fact, small developers can more easily develop on a PC, because you can get tools for free, and you don't have to pay licensing cost. Development on a PC is easier than development on console. The result? Many more indie games come out on PC. Several bring new and interesting ideas where bigger publishers are unwilling to invest in something that isn't a sure thing.

My 5 year old computer cost me $900 bucks when it first came out, I'm only *now* looking to upgrade it with a new graphics card, that will cost me about $160-$200, and a processor and RAM for another $100. Upgraded, I expect to be able to play some zombie mod (PC only) on some custom maps (PC only) on a dedicated server (PC only) in Team Fortress 2 on Steam (PC only) at 1080P resolution w/ AA, which is far better than anything you can get from a console, at this moment.

Consoles are nice. I'm not demeaning them. I just think it's utter BS to say that PC's aren't a great platform as well. For the most part, it's all about preference.

PC is the place where game lives and grows, PC is gaming at games home. Gaing at games home is enjoying games. 

PC has the most comfortable controls.
