Hey guys, I just bought a wireless adapter for my xbox and i was trying get it set up but i don't have my WEP key. So I went to log in to my Linksys router setup(http://192.168.1.1), but everytime i type in my username and passcode my IE loading bar on the bottom right gets about to the half way point and just freezes. Also the log in screen pops up again. I tried making sure i had the right password and username, but when i type the wrong password it immediatley closes the pop up and a pink page comes up saying log in unauthorized. Sorry if that is a bit confusing, but if you could help me out i would appreciate it.
    thanks

    Use WPA2, it's more secure.
Try resetting the router from the hardware. Look at the back you'll see a hole with a button inside. Use a pen to push it in and hold it for 20 seconds or so. This will reset the router to default settings and the login back to default too. I believe the default password for Linksys routers is 'admin'.
