A Non Pilotable vehicle in the Halo series, unless you download the mods available to allow you to do so. it holds on Pilot and up to ten people in the cargo hold, it is also used to drop off vehicles,weapons, and support to the player. It can carry one warthog, one scorpion, six weapon drop pods, or two mongooses. As for weaponry it varies depending on what the task is, but it can have a mounted machine gun in the cargo hold and two missile launchers in the front.Aswell as being used by the military, pelicans are used by earths police force and do the same jobs that a modern day police helicopter would do
