If this has already been explained feel free to delete this post and make fun of me.

So, there are two DLC characters, the wording about them confuses me. Do I have to pre-order the game to get them? Or do I just download them off PSN for free on launch week? Because i'm hearing BOTH of those and my little brain isn't working out whats true. My ebgames is notorious for not getting pre-order items / collectors editions and still charging for them... so that's a problem too. Anybody know? Or is this just stupid pre-order jargon.

Too lazy to double check but IIRC all first-print copies come with the DLC characters.

EDIT: To be clear, I believe that Adachi and Marie are free and that Margaret will come soon after launch as paid-DLC.

EDIT2: Decided I wasn't too lazy, cursory Google search seems to indicate that Adachi and Marie will be free for the first week after launch. Presumably you could get them even if you don't own the game...?

What I kept hearing was that Adachi and Marie are "free for the first week," so I don't think the manner in which you get the game matters.

Thanks doods! That makes a lot more sense now. No need to worry about pre-order DLC characters, just download them off PSN week one and worry about getting the game later.

I'm on 360, and the only character I'm seeing on the Live store is Marie. Is this hell?

Yeah, I didn't see the Adachi DLC either. Very strange. I hope it's up when I get home tonight.

PSN or XBL haven't updated yet, which is when the DLC will fully appear. This isn't unusual.

So it's not hell then. Good to know.

Hmm, doesn't look like the dlc's up in the PS Store yet.

EDIT: Bad news: I found Marie...

The free DLC characters Marie and Adachi is up on psn.

A bunch of the DLC is up but only listed on the PSN website store. Its also listed odd, some stuff is under ALL dlc, and other stuff is under PS3 specific dlc.

Yeah, I only see Marie on XBL....I want Adachi, dammit!

I just got the 1.01 update and it says there are available, but then I checked the PSN store and it still shows no DLC yet.

Hmm I found both characters on PSN. I'm just waiting for vanilla arena's story mode to show up so I can buy it.

PSA: If anyone's trying to download Adachi for Xbox, I was just able to do it. Good luck, guys!

EDIT: Ok, I did a bit of digging here. It's still not showing up for me on my xbox store, but it's on xbox.com/live. You go to the game's addons, and sort by best selling all time. That causes an additional three addons to pop up, one of which is Additional Character 1 Tohru Adachi. If you're signed in, you can just click it and download it for free. Idk why this is happening, but hey, I got Adachi, so it's cool with me now.

Both characters, as well as various color, glasses, and navigator packs are available on the PS store now. Just navigate to new game addons and sort from newest to oldest

No Adachi on 360 for me, even though a message popped up saying there was. Instead, there's two listing for the 1.30 patch thingy in the downloads section.

Edit: There's also two links to download Marie showing up for me, and it says I have both.

Edit again: I downloaded one of the 1.30 patches and restarted the game and Adachi popped up on the internal DLC list. Don't know if that will help anyone.

Looks like they may have it sorted out. Adachi showed up for me, and I did not have to download the patch.

I don't own the game but on 360 I headed off to the mainpage and saw both Adachi and Marie there able to be downloaded for free.

Yeah, looks like it's fixed now!

...Except Margaret is still MIA.

Margarette is pay dlc available oct 7th. just got an email with that info. DARN!
