you don't need an arcade cabinet either! the arcades are not getting this story mode as far as I know :)

While he doesn't "talk" in the sense that he has no voiced dialogue in the game, he certainly has dialogue and he certainly speaks (i.e. when he calls on persona during battle) so it's not like they has no voice in the game at all.

It's not that weird, he spoke all the time in the anime. What's going to be weird is him speaking in the english verson. Personally I like his japanese VA and I don't know how I feel about an english VA for him.

That's because his name is Charlie. The Endurance Run is canon and I won't have anyone suggest otherwise, by punishment of death ... or possibly harsh words.

Yosuke's so hyped to get back in the Midnight Channel. I bet he's the killer.

I don't know works for me, at least in Japanese because I heard him talk in the anime. It will be stranger in the English version as I have no idea who they will hire for it. I mean the only people I ever heard reading Yu's lines are Jeff and Vinny. Still that's fine with me, he just sounded really depressing.

I've watched the anime so hearing Yu talk doesn't bother me. The mouth moving thing is totally weird at first but really I'm fine with it.

Having their mouths move when they talk is fine (it's giving me BlazBlue nostalgia) - as long as they stay the hell away from that 'idle animation' stuff that Record of Agarest War: Zero had.

..Which it looks like they aren't doing, so I'm bringing this up for no reason.

I'm really glad that their letting Charlie speak. During the Endurance Run, Charlie's silence during certain cutscenes really bothered me. I'm starting to dislike the silent protagonist choice in games, especially ones that want you to be emotionally engaged. I'm hoping that Persona 5 and more Atlus games have more talkative protagonists. I'd go a step further and give the protagonist a last name so his friends can actually say some part of your name. I love how Mass Effect does Shepard's style of a protagonist, I'm glad Charlie is talking more is all I'm saying.

Ha, I noticed this just going through the standard arcade mode storyline, yet never thought people might actually be interested in hearing about it. Living in Japan puts me in such a strange bubble when it comes to stuff like that.

That isn't Charlie. It's just some guy who looks like him.
