"I've actually been thinking for a while that I wanted to see a 2D fighter set in the Persona world," explained the director. "With Arc System Works titles, you can really feel the developers' dedication in all the character animations; I got the impression that these people love 2D fighters and can't get enough of making them. It was something we could identify with at the Persona team, because we all love making RPGs. So we approached them with the idea and now we're co-developing it with the BlazBlue team. We're developing the story and dialogue, as well as supervising the graphic and animation work the BlazBlue team is handling. As for the gameplay system, the thing which defines the overall quality of any 2D fighter, we're entrusting the BlazBlue team with that."
It's definitely a possibility, especially with how the xbox 360 is doing in japan. Hell, if Sega is releasing it's new version of VF5 as a downloadable, this certainly could.
Hopefully it's a downloadable game. I don't think I'd pay full price, but I wouldn't mind dabbling.
