Has anyone else had any issues with how hard this mode is? I have not been able to win a single round. Go ahead and be honest with me is it hard or am I just bad at this game? Story mode and Arcade mode I have been able to fly through with ease but I have spent the last 40 minutes getting raped in this some rounds I don't even get a hit off.

There's a reason 0% of PSN users have yet to obtain the trophy for completing stage 6 of Score Attack mode. The mode is notorious for its difficulty.

@FluxWaveZ: Good point, I didn't even look at that.

It's harder than the hardest difficult setting.

It was relatively simple to abuse what I could for the first few matches. Still tough, but certainly doable. Then I ran into Yukiko, who has fire break by default which recharges at an absurdly accelerated rate. I couldn't take it.

I beat the first round once and lost in the second...Don't know if I am going to try again after I beat the story mode and arcade mode.

I got one round on Yukiko once, and now I can't even get past Naoto (Stage 2)

EDIT: Well, I just made it to stage 5. The AI never dodges instant kills.

I got to Kanji once and he destroyed me.

Made it too round 6 by spamming Yu's Swift Strike (They never guard against it 90% of the time) but wasn't able to beat Chie. Doing the Instant Kill whenever you get the chance too is a good idea like Dogman765 said they also almost always run into it.

I can gat to round 6 vs Chie .... when Kanji doesnt 2 hit me D: , but havent been able to defeat Chie. Best strat vs Yousuke is to use your all out attack after 2 hits ... he always ends up getting hit , vs Naoto you just need to learn to block her combo , guard low , low , low , sguard up , guard low (if I recall correctly). Yukiko ..... ._. I hate her with all my might.... best thing to do ist to destroy her Persona , and when she does her all screen super attack your best option is to grab her to dodge that , burts wont work whatsoever. Teddy is just a matter of learning to dodge his super ... best timing is , he does it , goes of screen , you walk to mid screen then double jump , double jump again and double jump one more time , if timed right you would dodge it the 3 times. Kanji ... just fight him like any ladder kanji just dont let yourself be grabed and you will be fine (also he easily cheesable with Mitsurus air fierce Persona attack). Chie I still havent made a good strat against her.

Score attack and the character challenges are what kept me from trying to get a platinum trophy. I only tried 3 or 4 times, but I could never get past Yousuke. I don't think I completely suck at fighting games, but I'm nowhere near good enough to get through those and don't enjoy playing fighting games enough to take the time to get good enough.

Okay thanks guys for making me feel better, I felt this was a pretty weak thread and almost didn't submit it because I thought I was just a bitch. I'm glad everyone else agrees that it is hard.

Whoever earns the trophy for clearing Score Attack with every character should be considered superhuman.

I got destroyed in like 10 seconds on the first round.

I actually took one fight against Yosuke with Chie, and then nearly got perfected for my trouble. I'm thinking the best way to do this seems to be to clear the rest of the stuff out and then if you're really serious, start bumping the difficulty in arcade mode until you're comfortable on "Hell" difficulty then give it a shot.

Then again, I'm still trying to learn how to string combos other than the cheap ass 5A combo. Everytime I think to myself, "So what's the combo again" the spacing gets off and I lose the opportunity, usually getting smashed in the process.

I don't know about you guys but I tend to be a trophy hunter for some games and I didn't want to deal with Unlimited Mars mode.

If you'd like to get the trophy there's this forum post to help out with it, just gives you some tips with characters what to do what not to do.

Enjoy? If you want to try and legitly beat it, I understand that too because that's how I was for Blazblue Score Attack x-x;;...but Unlimited Mars on P4A is just insane from what I've heard. If you don't want to, of course don't click the link.

@Xomero: Knowing what to do and actually executing those tactics are two very different things. Reading those tips won't ensure victory in the least.

@FluxWaveZ : Right it won't ensure victory, but I don't believe that I can gain an average to above average skill level with each character to try and beat Score Attack with everyone. I still think it helps, and bringing in your own knowledge of a character can definitely help with the fight.

Regardless practice makes perfect. And Experience of course helps tremendously.

I did it! I am officially the one and only player on Giant Bomb to have completed Score Attack mode (who's linked their achievements/trophies to their account, anyways)!

@_Soki_: Definitely. She recovered all of her health in the first round when I was so close to beating her, so the time ran out with her having more HP and I thought I was going to lose again. But I managed to defeat her in the following two rounds, so that felt great.

omfg. How do you beat Elizabeth? She just keeps on healing over and over... AHHH.
