After the Endurance Run, do you have this problem?

I first watched the Persona 4 ER about 2 years ago, I really enjoyed it and it inspired me to pick up and play through Persona 3. However, due to watching thousands of hours of the ER my memories are all jacked up and I keep forgetting that I never actually played Persona 4. Anyway, glad this new version of the game is out because now I finally feel motivated to actually experience it for myself.

I never had that problem. I didn't finish watching the P4 Endurance Run.

I don't see why it's a problem.

No, as I've beat the game several times on my own. I do constantly remember the comments they made as I'm playing though, which is funny but annoying.

I tried playing the game, even bought a ps2 that was dedicated solely for that puprose (curse you non backwards compatible ps3!) but I really don't see the point after watching the endurance run. It just feels like I'm seeing everything again but without the amusing commentary and the gameplay alone isn't striking me as good as watching vinny and jeff play through it.

Also I thought this thread would be about hearing vinny and jeff's voices whilst playing or being unable to disassosciate the name Charlie Tunoku from the main character.

Yeah, I have no motivation to finish Persona 4 myself after seeing pretty much everything. I play JRPGs for the story, so there's no longer any point. Even with the extras, I don't think it will be enough to justify it for me (especially with it being a very long game). I'll be playing P3P pretty soon, though.

I'd only play P4 if it came with a Vinny voice over. Like DVD commentary. Its just not the same without.

On the other hand I'm quite looking forward to the PS3 version of Deadly Premonition.

There are actually some nice gameplay changes in Persona 4: Golden - no more "rerolling" personas to get abilities you want, no more annoying card minigame (I can't remember the actual name of the minigame - the one where you can get personas after battles), classroom quizes changed, new character (Marie) with (I hear) a new dungeon, some new non-TV areas as well.

Persona 4 is my favourate game I've never played. Though that might change when I see TWD episode 5.

That happens to me too lol. I'll just hear vinny or Jeff's voice in my head at certain parts.
