According to Andriasang, this is the box art (Though there's no title or anything).
I'm not sure if this is the first time we've seen the outside of the Velvet Room, you can see it on the left, under Marie. EDIT: Man, how do all these double posts keep happening?
I actually don't like that too much, but I've never really been a fan of the "Hey we got pictures of dozens of characters in random poses and slapped them altogether in one big image, how cool is that?!" style.

It's alright. Box art is rarely outstanding. I like the way Chie looks in this, although I like the way Chie looks all the time. I see your point about the outside of the Velvet Room. Doesn't look too roomy, it must be like the Tardis. If it wasn't already confirmed before, I think Marie sitting on top of the Velvet Room is a pretty clear sign that she is a resident or something like that.

Box art is cool, but I'm more concerned about whether or not they're gonna include this Vita sticker as a bonus like they do in Japan. Because that would be pretty sick.

Meh. Not a fan of hey look at these guys box art. Would have just liked Yu and some sweet P4 color themes. Still pumped for this game, the only problem is actually getting a Vita...

Yeah, the original P4 cover was stylish, clean and eyecatching. The one in the OP is just a diarrhea of P4. Hell, there is exactly as much stuff going on in the P4 cover as the P4G cover.
Really not sure why Soejima seems to have almost backed down completely from working on P4 stuff. He didn't work on the P4 animation, I've yet to see actual new art from him in P4A(though, this is still up in the air-- the character select screen art might totally just be him employing a different style) and now for P4G, the boxart looks like its done by someone else again. Well, I hope that means good things for P5, I guess...

hrm. It might be. He's not employing his usual style if it is, though. The characters look more cartoony and exaggerated. Yosuke's mouth in particular is the most apparant in that pic you posted. Also, the shading is a lil' bit clumsy. Look at the weird triangle forming on Yu's face in that shot. Soejima is usually really good with that stuff.
These arcade mode pieces of artwork are definitely Soejima though.....Then again, the P4 characters just get their all-out attack portraits, and I'm 99% sure that Mitsuru's artwork is an altered image from an artbook(going from memory with this one, though!). Akihiko's arcade mode pic might be the only legitimately new Soejima artwork in the game...at least as far as I can tell!
What in the hell has happened to Kanji? Between this and the anime, it seems like no one can decide how he is supposed to look, probably the most inconsistent depiction out of the entire cast.

awe damn, when I first saw this in the trailer I was hoping it was a special P4 edition Vita. Makes more since as a sticker though.
