So for NY Comic Con this year I decided to go as Kanji from Persona 4. I made the costume myself for about $20 or less altogether, & was great success.

Later on in October, Atlus held it's anual halloween cosplay contest (Altus-O-Weenie), & thought hey I made a costume for an Atlus character, I should enter.

I so posted it, & mostly forgot/ did just for shits & giggles. But then I get a call the other day on my phone saying that I had won the random lucky draw for 5th place.

It may not be 1st-4th, but it's still really awesome to see my hard work paying off, & $50 gist card to Best Buy ain't too shabby ether.

I remember you, sorry if the looks came off as weird or odd, you caught me off guard & in a bad mood at that moment (between losing my cling bag & my friend being a D-Bag).

Grats on winning, but those judges must use some weird criteria for picking winners. Looking through some of those entries there were some crazy costumes that didn't even get a numbered finish.

Also, am I the only one that feels it's unfair that the first-place winner (obviously) looks like a professional. It seems weird that someone of that...calibur would be able to place. Kind of like if a rich-guy won the science fair simply because he had more money.
