Trophies for this game seem pretty sane. This might be the first Jrpg with trophies that don't look like they're made by crazy people.

Platinum

-Get all trophies

Gold

-Complete the Persona Compendium

-Defeat the Super Boss Margaret

-Defeat the Final Boss

Silver

-Unknown, appears to be a storyline trophy for rescuing Marie.

-Register 50% of personas in the Compendium

-Defeat the Reaper

-Max out all of the Main Character's Social Stats

-Summon the Persona Izanagi-no-ookami

-Max all Social Links

Bronze

-Wear a costume in battle

-Storyline related (though not an automatic trophy) Visit Nanako in the hospital 3 times

-Register 100 skill cards (new? Appears to be related to Marie)

-Storyline related Rescue Rise

-Storyline related, Discover the Killer's Identity

-Get a pre-emptive attack

-Deal 999 damage in one strike

-Hit enemy weak spots 100 times

-Read all the books the MC can acquire

-Complete the Rainy Day Beef Bowl Challenge (alternately: Conquer the Meat Dimension)

-Buy a Persona from the Compendium

-Storyline related Defeat Mitsuo

-Register a Skill Card

-Buy 5 items from Tanaka's shopping show

-Acquire Izanagi (aka start the game)

-Get a lucky item from the vending machine

-Storyline related Rescue Naoto

-Get the top grade in your class on an exam

-Buy an item from the capsule machine

-Perform 50 all-out attacks

-Perform Persona fusion 50 times

-Storyline related Rescue Nanako

-Become the Quiz King? (also new, seems to be related to the quiz shows)

-Go to the movies 3 times

-Defeat a Golden Hand

-Can't tell, looks like you need to hear Rise in battle 250 times?

-Enter into a romantic relationship with a girl (maybe all of them?)

-Perform Persona Fusion with 4 Personas or more at one time

-Storyline related Rescue Yukiko

-Storyline related Rescue Kanji

-Max a Social Link

-Achieve ALLGETBONUS 50 times (not sure what that is, seems to be related to Shuffle Time)

-Max 10 Social Links

-Persona Change 5 times in one battle

-Successfully make lunch 5 times

-Catch an insect (maybe a special one?)

-Buy a special croquette (can't remember if this is new)

-Drink coffee at the cafe

-Catch the biggest fish

-Get a Fusion Accident

Translation is from someone on GAF. Seems like Marie's getting her own dungeon.

MEAT DIMENSION TROPHY

#4 Edited by SlightConfuse (3963 posts) -

skill cards were in P3P, when your persona reached a certain level you got a card with an attack

also marie own dungon is intresting

I was expecting something like this, however not necessarily with Marie. All the more reason to play this version of the game.

Trophies? Oh no, must resist...

#7 Posted by SMTDante89 (2579 posts) -

It's getting harder to resist the urge to pick up a Vita.

OK, Atlus is officially the best developers ever for knowing their fans!

I hoped this would happen....I'm so happy

Does this mean they're shifting the dates of everything? There's so much extra stuff in this version you're even less likely to do everything in one go. I barely managed to max all S Links in one playthrough before.

really isn't that hard. P3 is much harder

I did it with one day to spare. I followed a guide and did everything I possibly could on a New Game plus with max stats. I don't see how it could be any easier.

This isn't new news. They've already said that Marie shows up during the time gap between the last two dungeons

And how does that confirm a new dungeon, exactly?

Damn, I really don't want a Vita, but I want this.

Huh? She shows up at the start of the game, dude!

I'm pretty sure there isn't news about her role in the game, or at least I haven't seen it until now.

That's a bad guide, then. If you do everything perfectly you can have a month's worth of spare time(Without NG+! in NG+ you have even more time to waste)

Oh, and there seems to be 3 extra months of gameplay, AlisterCat. The timeskip after Adachi doesn't happen.

All we know, I think, is that she's a member of the Velvet Room.

That last bit in the spoiler tags was what I figured. Everyone has to face their true self.

#20 Posted by FluxWaveZ (19339 posts) -

@AndrewB: Narukami didn't.

#21 Posted by AndrewB (7613 posts) -

@FluxWaveZ: He faced Igor and that long nose. That was good enough.

#22 Posted by smitty86 (698 posts) -

@AndrewB: Funky Student didn't. But then again, I'm sure he was always aware of his true funkiness.

#23 Posted by TheRealJpoe (134 posts) -

This will probably end up being my first platinum. Already was planing on spending a lot of time with the game, & if these are the final trophies then it shouldn't be insanly challenging.

Max all Social Links

Oh great, doing that in P3P kind of exposed the game in ways I didn't really care for. To approach the game in a mechanical fashion is detrimental to the overall experience, at least in my experience.

At least P4 was much more lenient in that regard, P3 was always the one that seemed more of a chore if you are deliberately going for the perfect route. Like Yukari, and her innate ability to function outside the realms of logic, reverse my S-Link will you!

#25 Posted by DonutFever (3551 posts) -

More sane than I thought they'd be.

#26 Posted by SonGoten (12 posts) -

"The drink coffee at cafe" trophy seems to specifically refer to the Chagall Cafe from Persona 3. It seems that the trip to Tatsumi Port Island is extended in some form?

#27 Posted by AndrewB (7613 posts) -

@smitty86: He faced his own funky riddle challenge. That was good enough.

MEAT DIMENSION ENDURANCE RUN

WEEKLY TRAINING VIDEOS OF VINNY AND JEFF IN THE GYM WORKING OUT TO CONQUER SAID MEAT DIMENSION GO!!!!

#29 Posted by dropabombonit (1490 posts) -

This reconfirms why I will buy a Vita to play this again. I have already played Persona 4 the whole way through twice and watched the endurance run

#30 Edited by Snarkasaur (27 posts) -

I'm not sure I can complete with game without an accompanying endurance run. And no, I can't just re-watch the old one!

#31 Posted by Marcsman (3196 posts) -

This is gonna be a winner

#32 Posted by benjaebe (2783 posts) -

Enjoying that trophy list, especially since it hints at a decent amount of new content.

Meat Dimension confirmed for best trophy ever though.
