Atlus could put up a C&D if they do an endurance run at release, that is if they think it will hurt sales. But they could also use it as a sales pitch. Double edged sword.

Jeff and Vinny are an amazing duo. I don't think any other combination could be as entertaining. It's just.. chemistry, I guess.

Trying to watch the Chrono Trigger Endurance Run is like trying to masturbate to pornography while trying to ignore a horrible ruckus outside your window. You can close the window of course, but it's too loud to avoid. And just to be clear, Ryan Davis is the porn, and Klementia is the horrible ruckus.

Don't be hasty, everyone! The JPN and ENG versions need to be out first, then they'll think about doing another one. Right now, we need to put our attention on "Brono's" journey.

They're more likely to review a Persona 5 instead of ER-ing it since they now know that they enjoyed the previous one. That is if Atlus sends them a review copy early enough for them to finish it for a timely review.

Damn it, not this shit again. We haven't even seen anything about Persona 5; how are we to know that'll even be good enough for an ER? (I'm not trying to insult Persona 5, but just saying that it may not make for good ER material.)

You see what made the Persona 4 Endurance Run fun for me was I had not played or heard of the game before, so it was a new experience for me. Now that they have shown me that game I am really going to get Persona 5 at launch and hopefully enjoy it. They won't do an endurance run of a game that has just come out, cause that would be a middle finger to the people who worked hard making the game, and when enough time has passed that it would be ok to do it, I would have finished it.

Persona 4 was all about story for me, so if they did it around the launch of Persona 4 I would have not bought that game because these guys did the ER. Its also why I think people do Lets Plays of games that have just come out as dicks.

I get what you mean but it doesn't matter whether GB does it on release day or years away. There will be plenty of people doing a let's play series and uploading it on youtube.

I disagree, if anything the endurance run that giant bomb does makes people go out and play the game more than a let's play from YouTube would

Alright, I guess that's fair for a story based game. I think the number of people we're talking about who wouldn't buy it for that specific reason is so low though that who gives a fuck.

As much as I'd love it, I'd rather they not do Persona or any other Atlus game. There are plenty of other niche and bizarre titles that deserve the attention, and a P5 ER would never live up to the P4 ER by virtue of it being too similar and familiar.

And of course, they aren't our monkeys and we can't make them dance for us. The only reason they touched P4 at all was because they wanted to play it but didn't have spare time for it.

Though I do admit, I want another VJ ER someday, no matter what it is. I still wish I had discovered Giantbomb back before they began both their ER's.

Dave is a Western RPG guy. the two genres are almost completely different by this point.
