And no I'm not getting it because I already have a 3DS and if I ever buy another one it will be a New 3DS.

I misread this topic title as "Persona Q to be released in the US" and I was like um...

But anyway, yeah as much as I love this, I can never bring myself to re-purchase an entire console I already own because of an awesome design.

It looks super nice, but for most people, why buy one when there's a complete hardware revision on the horizon?

That is really fucking nice. I'd buy it day one. IF it was the "new" 3DS.

If it was a bit more subtle, it would almost look nice.

Well, I don't have an XL and it has Persona on it, so maybe. It would have been an easy purchase if the "New" 3DS wasn't announced.

Well, they're making the New 3DS, but they also have to find ways to clear out their existing stock of the original 3DS and 3DS XL models.

They waited to make this announcement a bit too late. I already bought a 3DS for Persona during E3.

Even though I think Persona Q looks dumb as hell, I would have actually bought this just 'cause it looks nice and I need a new 3DS....But if it's not the " New " 3DS or whatever it's called, I don't really see a point.

I can't understand why anyone in the know would buy a 3DS now when the New 3DS is probably just 6 months away. Well, I guess if you were a huge Persona fan with some disposable income and no patience. Having said all this, it has a nice design. It would be cool if a face-plate for the New 3DS had a similar design.

Or maybe a wizard, yeah, riding a motorcycle with a topless barbarian girl over a rainbow. That would be so bitchin'.

I'm a big Persona fan but no way would I get this 3DS. In my area, a lot of people speak French and the French on it is super corny.

i really don't like the look of it so i don't mind giving it a pass. seems like more of a collectors item anyway. i'll save my money for the actual persona q bundle.
