    I think your vision is still 20/20 and I think P3P was a great Idea to experiment with separate paths and try new things before PS5

    Unless  you consider lifting Persona 4's gameplay and throwing it in P3(thus making it wildly unbalanced and easy) and throwing in something as obvious as a female protagonist "new things".

    Except, it wasn't unnecessary. It was an excellent remake, they made it work well on PSP, and it introduced some people to P3 for the first time. 
     
    Shitty remakes are shitty when they don't work with the system, if they're a bad port, or if absolutely nobody wants them. It's amazing you can throw a jab out like that right after you get what you want.

    Unless your Atlus, the only reason you'd care about any of that was if you never played Persona 3.
     
    If you have played P3, which the majority of the modern day Persona fans did, it was a waste of their time and resources. P2 on the other hand, is not only incredibly clunky by post-2000 standards....
     
    The first part was also never released in the US.

    All this reminds me is that Atlus has still avoided announcing a US release date for Catherine, and no info on P5.

    I bought a Japanese copy of Innocent Sin but was too scared/too broke to mess with modding my PS2 to make it work. And I have a PSP. So this is awesome news.

    Peter Bartholow reviewed Persona 2: Innocent Sin, back in the old days when GameSpot actually reviewed imports. Jeff reviewed Persona and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, but don't count on him remembering either game. On an episode of On the Spot where Persona 3 was being shown, Jeff actually thought that the evokers were included in the previous games.

    well i'm excited. Also I don't think P3P was a bad idea for ATLUS to do, it got people into persona 3 and made it portable, i thought it was great, and I have P3 and FES.

    I'm still hoping that they put Persona 4 on PSP, because despite spending 100+ hours watching Vinny and Jeff play it, I want to play it, but don't really want to get a PS2 copy. But judging by other people's comments here, I seem to be in the minority.
